Our Story

ChonBerri began in 2016 with a bold idea: create silk faux fur coats that feel luxurious, look striking, and are made without synthetics. It took three years of experimenting to figure out how to actually bring the idea to life.

Just as things were about to take off, life had other plans. Covid hit, I had to put the project on hold, and shift gears into building another business to stay afloat.

Fast forward to 2024. I shared the original idea with my partner, and he immediately saw the potential. With his encouragement, I decided to give it another shot — and this time, we’re building it together. We’re equal partners in every step. My colleague and my brother have joined the journey too — it’s become something bigger than just one person’s dream.

What We Believe

We believe natural materials should feel exciting — not basic or beige. Like a good meal made with fresh ingredients, great textiles can light you up and make you feel amazing.

We work with pure silk and natural fibers — not because it’s trendy, but because it’s what feels best to wear.

We make statement pieces for people who like to show up. ChonBerri is eveningwear with a wink — bold, flirtatious, a little mischievous. We don’t do minimal. We don’t do boring.

Everything is made-to-order, so nothing’s rushed or wasted. We’re growing with intention, building something real — and having fun while we’re at it.
